Canoe Charters

Simplicity is forgotten about in so many ways in this day and age with all the modern technology and tools we use to equip ourselves with for a day of fishing. “Simplicity” is the best way to describe fishing from a canoe leaving behind all the hassles that boating entails. Canoe fishing can be experienced year round depending on the conditions allowing us to access areas throughout the Mosquito Lagoon, Indian River Lagoon, and the No Motor Zone inside the Banana River Lagoon.

18 Feet Mohawk Canoe

The canoe design that I use is a 18ft Mohawk that is very stable allowing some anglers to stand up while sight fishing or sit and fish comfortably. All of the canoe trips are fly fishing or spin fishing with artificial lures only and are catch and release only as well. Everything is provided for you on these trips from your fly rods, spinning rods, flies and tackle, and a small cooler for any food or drinks that you care to bring. With “simplicity” in mind pack lite! All you will need to bring is a good pair of polarized sunglasses, hat, proper clothing to accommodate the weather, sunscreen SPF 50, and either flip flops or wading boots. Wading boots are preferred since there are times that we are getting in and out of the canoe. If you are into Photography like I am you may want to bring your own camera but it is not necessary as I am taking photos throughout the trip and will email you copy’s of our adventure.

Rates for 1 angler:

4hrs-$300.00
6hrs-$350.00

*If two anglers would like to fish together another guide and canoe can be arranged and we can fish the same areas..[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1439336694652{margin-right: 0px !important;margin-left: 0px !important;}” el_id=”10″][vc_column][vc_column_text]
